Rochelle graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1993 with her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. In 1996 she completed her Masters Degree in Individual Guidance and Counseling and a Master Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. In 1999, she became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida.
Rochelle started her career in the Tampa Bay area of Florida doing in-home counseling for children and families involved with Child Protective Services and the Foster Care System. From 1999 to 2009, Rochelle worked in the area community mental health within Pinellas County. She has extensive experience with the child welfare agencies in surrounding Florida counties, school system and judicial system. She has experience completing Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments and psychosocial assessments for families involved in the child welfare system.
In 2009, Rochelle joined a private practice, The Center for Individual and Family Counseling, in Clearwater, Florida. In her private practice Rochelle focused her clinical work in the areas of depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress, parenting and relationship issues. In 2009, Rochelle became a Certified Adoptions Competent Counselor in the State of Florida. She has completed adoption home studies and adoption child studies in the State of Florida. Also in August of 2009, she became an adjunct professor at Webster University located in St. Petersburg, Florida. While at Webster University she taught various graduate level courses in the area of mental health counseling.
Rochelle joined Psych and Psych in 2011 when she relocated from Florida to Ohio. While at Psych and Psych, Rochelle worked with children, adolescents, individual adults, families and couples. She primarily used a cognitive/behavioral approach with clients in sessions. In 2012, she became an adjunct professor at Lorain County Community College.
In September 2013, Rochelle moved back to the Tampa Bay area and rejoined the group of counselors at Solution Counseling, in Clearwater, Florida. Since her return, Rochelle has resumed focused her clinical expertise in the area of depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress, parenting and relationship issues. Rochelle remains a Certified Adoptions Competent Counselor in the State of Florida and continues to complete adoption home studies and adoption child studies in the State of Florida.
