Carolyn graduated from Roger Williams University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Elementary Education. She then received a Master of Arts/Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology from Tufts University in 2005. She worked as a school psychologist for two years before moving to Florida to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
Carolyn graduated with a Doctor of Psychology degree from The Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2012 after completing a pre-doctoral internship at Rockland Psychiatric Hospital in New York. She completed her post-doctoral residency at the University of South Florida and became licensed in the state of Florida in 2013.
Areas of clinical interest include, but are not limited to, trauma, grief, relationship issues, anxiety and mood disorders. Carolyn is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an effective form of trauma treatment.
Psychological and psycho-educational testing services offered include evaluation of intelligence, learning disabilities, ADHD, and personality.
Carolyn is available for therapy and assessment sessions in the evenings and on the weekends.
